what is a work/stay?
A work/stay is a volunteer exchange. Morgan & Braham work a total of 40-50 hours per week (20-25 hours each) to complete projects on your property in exchange for accommodations.

ANYTHING! We are hard workers and fast learners.
We have worked on everything from demolitions, yard work, constructing fences, weeding, landscaping, gardening, cooking/cleaning, cordwood masonry, staining/stripping wood, installations, and more!
No project is too big or too boring.

Food *
Others include: access to bathroom/laundry, bedroom (if available)
We are fully equipped to sleep in our camper truck, so if you do not have an extra room to stay or do not want our dogs in your home - that is OK … every work/stay is customizable, which includes food …
*we have received a stipend for food in the past, or invited to join in on dinners, or access to food pantry, ect.
-
Yes, of course.
If you have MORE work for us to complete after the 40-50 hours of volunteer work and are willing to pay us hourly, then we can discuss this!
We charge $25-$30/hour.
-
That is OK!
Work/stays are customizable to what you need. Some hosts are project-focused and only have 1-2 projects in mind that they want complete.
For example, Mike wanted us to weed his blueberry bushes and we completed that project in 2 days. Instead of staying for a week at his home, we stayed for 4 days.
If other tasks or projects you want complete reveal themselves during our time, then we can chat about it!
Communication is key and we are flexible.

Dream it.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
